“ORC’S IN THE UFC, NEVER”
ULTIMATE FIGHTER IS THE ULTIMATE PLATFORM FOR MOVIE LAUNCH
When the UFC, Ultimate Fighting Championship, was challenged to create unique branded content to support the new Netflix blockbuster film Bright, Source stepped in to take this content creation to a whole new level. Filmmaker David Ayers’ fantasy crime drama, starring Will Smith and Joel Egerton as an Orc, was seeking to find the perfect audience in UFC fans. But how to garner interest in the film on the UFC platform required something special. Source created a stand-alone “mockumentary” called “Fight” that follows the rise of an Orc MMA fighter, Max Carlyle, as he seeks a chance to step into the octagon against heavyweight contender Travis Brown. A few great cameos and a surprise ending sent the views viral and had UFC fans cheering for more. We are hoping for a rematch when Bright 2 premieres sometime next year.
